My fourteenth year. Today was completely the same as any other. Demons don't usually take time to acknowledge when other were born. It was often because they were so old, they lost track of the countless days. Not to mention demons lived in bodies unlike their own. But in my case, it wasn't just another possession. This was MY body. I was born into it, the product of a demon and, believe it or not, an archangel. My mother was the demon, a well known seductress. My father was the archangel. Sent down to Earth on business, he became entranced with the demon, the very one he was meant to slaughter. Despite what some think, demons can have feelings. They can have morals. In some ways, humans and demons are identical. It's just that demons tend to sin more than an average human. I am not certain if I have parents any longer. I always hoped they were alive somewhere, though in my soul...or lack thereof, I somehow knew they weren't. When the forbidden relationship was found out, the demons dragged my mother down, and the angels stole my father away to hell knows where. I was born only minutes before. Call it a demon's intuition to know when all hell's about to break loose. My mother entrusted me to members of the coven she had resided in. And from there on, I was raised in the lifestyle of demons. But it never stopped me from learning about my forbidden other half. Somewhere deep inside, I was half angel.

Of course, along with that angel, I was a killer. An evil thing that thrived on pain and misery. Quite the combination actually. I had never been to Hell, nor Heaven. Unlike the other demons, I couldn't visit my "home". Any angel detected down there would be struck down on the spot. I couldn't risk being killed. And as for heaven...well, I couldn't exactly be half demon and in Heaven with all God's divine creatures, now could I? Angels and demons...they aren't so different. Both ruthless and willing to serve their leaders to the death.

I looked at myself in the mirror. My abnormally pale skin, my unkempt shoulder length brown hair, and my most unusual characteristic; my eyes. The inner part was black. In each was a golden sun, behind was a very light green and brown. And a dark blue circle surrounded the entire thing. There was one thing not symmetrical with my eyes. In my right eye, there was a green cross right behind the sun. And in the left lay another cross, but this one cracked in half. You could only see it if you looked really closely.

Sighing, I got dressed in my usual clothing. A black tee shirt, black skinny jeans, and black Converse sneakers. All in all, I looked like a mortal. Of course, there was the flaw of my eyes turning black. But other than that, I had no problem fitting in. Of course, who said I wanted to fit in?

"Liberum Arbitrium! Get up!" Shouted Serena, my guardian. I opened the door and left my bed chambers. Right in the middle of the social area was a pile of unconscious mortals. I walked over and nudged one with my foot. Serena looked at me questioningly.

"Why the humans?" I asked.
"For the new demons. We have some that desire to rise from Hell and wreak havoc. Who are we to stop them? So I figured I'd gather some new hosts for them. You know, be productive an all that jazz." She said, smirking.

I nodded, looking back towards the humans.

"So today's your fourteenth, huh?" Serena asked, to my surprise.
"Y-yeah. My fourteenth year." I said, struggling to find words.
Serena smiles lightly. "Surprised I remembered?"
I nodded and blushed, then looked down towards the ground. She chuckled.
"You needn't be embarrassed. Of course, that's the angel in you."
I smiled, then looked back up at her. "It seems there's been an upward surge in demand for bodies. Why?"
She hesitated. "Two hunter brothers. Call themselves the Winchesters. Apparently they're a threat to our kind. I think it's just a load of junk. I mean, we're superior to human beings in every way. Two humans couldn't possibly be as much as people make them out to be."
I shrugged. "Things aren't always what they seem."
She smirked at me. "I utterly despise it when you talk in riddles."
I returned her smirk. "I know."
She sighed and looked at the bodies. "Two hundred demons in this coven and yet not one around when I need help managing those things."

"Well you know how much we LOVE work and-" I was interrupted by Aaron bursting in, eyes wide.
"Aaron, what the hell?" Serena shouted. "You scared me half to...life."
"They're all dead Serena!" Aaron yelled.
"Who's dead?"
"Our coven! We're the only three members left."
"What? That isn't possible Aaron. What has caused this?" Serena asked, an inch away from Aaron's face.
His face was grave. "The Winchesters." Before we could say anything more, Aaron's face contorted in pain, black flowing out of his mouth, his body crashing to the ground.
I looked at Serena, wide eyed and mouth agape. Serena's expression matched my own, though slowly morphed to one of anger when she saw a man enter the room. He was relatively tall, with dirty brown hair and green eyes. The other man could have passed as a giant. He had longish brown hair and brown eyes. Serena hisses, before grabbing a knife and running towards the two strangers. They disarmed her, causing the knife to clatter to the floor. They twisted her arm behind her back, then stabbed her, letting her fall clumsily to the floor. All I could do was watch, petrified, from behind the corner of the hallway.

"I think that's the last of them Sammy." The blonde said, staring at Serena. The tall man, apparently named Sam, shook his head.
"No. I was counting. We killed one hundred and ninety nine. There's one more left to kill."
"You mean gank. And we have to have gotten them all. This place is deserted."
Once again, Sam shook his head. "I'm telling you, exactly two hundred members. And we've killed-"
"Ganked."
"GANKED, exactly one hundred and ninety nine. Dean, I'm telling you. There's one more."
Dean looked around, looked right at me, then looked away. I was relieved until he backtracked. He nudged Sam, who looked in my direction. I gasped, grasping tighter at the wall.
"Hey kid. What are you doing here?" Dean asked.
I backed away. Sam cocked his weapon. "Don't move. Hands up." I stuck my hands in the air, frozen in place. They both looked suspiciously at me. Dean took out a vial, removed the lid, and splashed some on me. I hissed, my eyes turning black. They raised their guns. I stared, turning my eyes back to normal. I put my hands down and looked Dean squarely in the eyes.
"Sam..." he said, unsure of what to do.
Sam lowered his gun, keeping his gaze on me. "Dean, she's a demon."
I looked sadly at them, then looked down towards the floor.
Sam looked at me. "What's your name?"
"L-Liberum." I said, still not looking up at them. I was shaking horribly. I looked towards Serena, my deceased guardian, wishing she was somehow here again.
"We're going to get you out of that body." Dean grunted.
I shook my head. "That isn't possible." I said, staring at him. Sam raised an eyebrow.
"And why not?"
"Because I was born into this body. I'm not possessing anybody."
Dean stared at Sam, once again, at a loss for words.
"We'll see about that." Dean said, grabbing my arm.
Mild swearing. So, this is a Supernatural fanfiction. Since my other one didn't do so hot, I figured I'd start anew with a different concept. In my original one, the main character was a mortal. This time around, she's the product of a demon and an archangel. Like always, if I get enough favorites I'll write another chapter. If not, then this will unfortunately stay a one shot. I do not own Supernatural unfortunately. Erik Kripke does... :( Why can't I? XD Ok, so you might have noticed that I changed Alison's name. I wanted it to mean something, so I changed it to Liberum Arbitrium, Liberum being her first name, and Arbitrium being her middle name. It's Latin, and translates to "free will". I thought "why not make it be something that could fit in?" so I switched it. Minor difference, but I think it's important.
